Biography
A career shaped by expertise and impact.
Ayorkor is Head of the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at Ashesi University and a Hopper Dean Fellow. She teaches robotics, artificial intelligence, programming, data structures and algorithms.
She holds degrees from Dartmouth College and a doctorate in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University. Her research covers computing education in African contexts, optimisation, robotics and technology for development, alongside sustained work to broaden participation in STEM.
