Impact

Evidence should show the journey not just the reach.

Powered Girl's impact framework follows access, learning, application, opportunity and leadership. Our programme figures show both the scale of our reach and the journey girls take.

Evidence architecture

Measure the whole journey.

Reach matters. So do learning, application, progression and the leadership that follows. The framework connects them without reducing girls to a single number.

A

Access

Who participated and what barriers were reduced

B

Learning

What skills, confidence and belonging changed

C

Application

What girls built, tested and presented

D

Progression

What education, opportunity or leadership followed

How progress will be measured

Participation numbers are only the start.

  • Geographic and participation reach
  • Completion and learning hours
  • Technical assessment improvement
  • Confidence and belonging measures
  • Projects completed
  • Opportunity placements
  • Mentor participation
  • Cost per completing girl
  • Partner renewal

Evidence in practice

A complete impact picture connects attendance records, learning checks, project evidence, participant voice and verified progression. Aggregate reporting protects individual privacy while still showing what changed.

03

Participant voice

Girls should be able to describe what they learned, what they built, what challenged them and what they want to do next. Consent led stories add context that numbers alone cannot provide.

04

Reporting cycle

Programme teams define indicators before delivery, check progress during the cohort, review outcomes at completion and follow up on progression where consent and programme design allow.

05

Methodology

The final framework should document indicator definitions, collection methods, consent, sample sizes, limitations and reporting periods.

06

Annual reports

Approved annual impact reports will be available for accessible download. No report is linked until a verified file is supplied.
